Title: Spin FV-1 lf and hf filter
Post by: sbirkenstock on December 01, 2017, 12:23:10 PM
Hi Everybody,

got my Spin FV-1 working,  I am only interested in programs 6 and 7 (Reverb 1 and Reverb 2), because I can change the reverb time (works well).
The pots for the LF Filter and the HF Filter do not seem to do anything.
I was trying it "wet only" as well, guess it should only work on the reverb signal.
But I do not hear any change.

Any suggestion?

Best regards,
Stephan

As you noticed the LF and HF controls do something but not much.

Tone controls on a reverb patch tend to be "damping" controls inside the reverb loop rather than overall tone controls.  You should be able to hear them doing something with the reverb time turned way up.  I would test HF damping with a click or snare drum and LF damping with a bass drum.
