Title: Question about volume loss after tone section
Post by: jimitrader on September 21, 2020, 03:02:36 PM
Hello:I am designing a pedal and i have the first section sounding good . then when i add a tone stack the output vol is super low..is it common practice to add a output booster section after the tone stack? if so does anyone have a suggestion for the output booster?this is the boost section i am looking at (pic 2 )  but to me doesnt seem to boost it at all?tone stack is similar to pic 1(https://image.easyeda.com/histories/5bb46a946b324cd1a266f565924f96e9.png)

Yes.. An output booster, like the one in BMPi should be OK..  :icon_wink:
(the one posted exhibits a recovery boost of about 13dB..)

You might have to tweak your booster according to your particular tonestack loss..

P.S.
What does VA feed..??
