Title: Eagle - how to delete net labels
Post by: mattm on February 26, 2021, 09:11:26 PM
Hey guys,

Using Eagle and decently new.  I've got my schematic done up and then I clicked on a net and noticed that it was named GND even though it wasn't connected to ground.  Must have been one of the times I was working late, hit no to rename after adding a part, who knows.

Anyway I decided to label all the nets (using the label button on the left hand toolbar).  Now I've got an issue: How do I get rid of them?  I can't select them or move them so I can't delete them.  I've accidentally added some duplicates.  Even undo won't touch them, just undoes the last part/net/whatever that I did.

I've searched google and can't find anything which usually means I'm missing something obvious.

Anyone have any clue?

Thanks,

Matt M

Use the "change name" function

Actually it looks like eagle just needed a restart.  Now I can select, move, delete, etc the labels like anything else.  I figured it had to be something like that. Seemed really odd, especially the lack of anyone else saying anything.
