Title: Aion Azimuth footswitch problem
Post by: tarheelpedalguy on February 28, 2021, 05:17:43 PM
Hello all, first post here.  Just completed an Aion Azimuth kit, it's my second build ever.  Everything went together perfect.  Tested everything before I installed the back cover and knobs and it worked and sounded perfect.  But now after some playing time the footswitch either has a delay when switching on or will hang and not engage any sound.  It turns off fine and the LED will light up every time.  Is the footswitch bad, or is there some adjustment somewhere I can try?  I'd rather not disassemble the switch if possible, and I'd really hate to desolder it from the pcb.  If a new switch is in order then I'll just replace it.  Thanks in advance, I look forward to contributing any way I can.

hey, welcome to the forum,

i had the same problem once, i suspected that might have been that the switch got too hot during soldering, i think you have 2 options here, replace or live with it.

cheers
