Title: My Most Aesthetic Layout Yet - 6 Band EQ w/ footswitchable boost
Post by: drdn0 on November 19, 2023, 06:09:56 PM
...only I wish I didn't scratch the switching PCB while trying to change CLR's and then attempt a fix with Sharpie  :D

More satisfaction from soldering this bad boy than just about anything else I've done.

Unfortunately, the cover connects to the switching PCB through a pogo pin for shielding, so it's gotta be bare aluminium. Would be cool though!

I'll have to see if I can get FFC's in colours - that would look pretty sick.

How do you manage with the jacks on the sloped sides of the enclosure? Do you solder them in slightly off horizontal, or do you just not worry about it?
