I've been lurking around the stompbox boards for several years now but this is my first stompbox. It is Joe G.'s Easyface with input blend control and 'Volt' control (like the 'Stab' control on a Fuzz Factory) all on a tiny layout of my own design.

I really enjoyed hand-painting the artwork.

I laid out the artwork in Illustrator, printed it to size, taped it on top of the box and cut through the paper and into the paint with a sharp Xacto knife. Then I followed the lines from the knife with a 000 brush and Testors model paints.

Inside it's wire, jacks, pots and trannies from Smallbear and way-too-tiny Wima tone caps from my junk box.

Looking forward to building more!

Thanks for the kind words everybody!

That's a 5K pot in series with the +9V wire from the battery. It starves the circuit for power and gives you spattery, fizzy, kludgey kind of tones depending on where it's set.
