Title: OT: Looking for Multi-Track tech
Post by: EliGold on August 18, 2003, 03:00:18 PM
Sorry for the off-topic post.  I've tried other, more appropriate forums with this one to no avail.  I am looking for a tech for my 3M M23 1" 8 track recorder.  I am in LA and at the end of my rope.  There are plenty of techs in the area for more ubiquitous machines, but this one's hard to find someone for.  It's a cool machine though - Dark Side of the Moon and Abbey Road were recorded on this type of machine.  I have the manual which is full of schematics, but this one is a little more involved than most stompboxes i've worked on.

Any leads would be appreciated.  Thanks guys.

P.S The new forum ROCKS!  Thanks Aron

You might want to try the DAW mac group at yahoo.com.

I know it's a Macintosh group, but those guys might be able to help you.

You've probably been to this one already. But, just in case. . .

Thanks Guys,

We finally found a tech and he'll be out on Friday.  If anyone else is in the greater L.A. area and needs someone for a weird machine like this one, I'll be happy to pass along his info.

Thanks again,
