Title: WD reissue Orange Squeezer ...
Post by: Melanhead on July 06, 2005, 01:13:28 PM
Anyone know if this is the same as the original .. I ripped mine apart years ago to used the box for a signal tracer and I still have the board sitting in a drawer. I guess I'm wondering if it's worth boxing it up ???

I believe it is. Of course whenever you have a reissue someone will claim it doesn't sound the same, but these apparently are fine.

Dave Hunter's book says that they are different and not endorsed by
"musitronics" ..... BUT  I've been told that they sound great and are very
similar to the originals  :D

Yeah, who knows? I can't imagine them changing the circuit much.
