Title: dod fx 90 trim pot settings
Post by: freak scene on February 23, 2006, 09:55:18 AM
i am fixing a dod fx 90, i changed the switch and it works now but it has a quiet but constant oscillation that is affected when i change the knobs, and is still present when the effect is bypassed.

i have a feeling the trim pots are screwed up, anyone have the proper setting for them (ohmage)?  there are 3, a 2.2k and a 1 meg and another i cant remember rightnow.  or is this noise just common on the fx 90's?  is there a way to get rid of it if its not a trim pot problem?

I have one... I've fiddled with the trimpots to get the right (for me) amount of feedback, delay time, etc. I've never had any problem with oscillation noise. Although I sometimes make it oscillate on purpose! Good times. I wish I could be more help, but I don't really know much about the inner workings of analog delays.
