I have a nte287 lying around not being used (TO92) could I use this for my low leakage diode for my Mil. Bypass? I know this is probably a tedious question... but I am a beginner and don't know the differences between different ones yet. It seems like I could, its a Si NPN... its whether or not the tolerances will be good for this application...
Thanks in advance!
I think it will work, the pinout seems to be the same as the BC549.
You are talking about Mil Bypass 2 right?

Thank you.
anyone else have an opinion on it??
They are close enough to try it. The base-emitter voltage of BC549 is .7V and NTE is .9V.
I would say give it a go.
