Title: Copper Clad Stock
Post by: $uperpuma on March 16, 2006, 06:26:31 PM
those of you that etch your own boards where do you get your stuff?  Rat shack is useless in this department... the people that have good prices seem to have ridiculous shipping. Any help?

I get it mostly from Electronix Express and The Electronic Goldmine. They both have good prices and Electronix Express is very quick to ship your order.

I just got started making my own boards and was turned on to this guy:

http://www.abcfabricators.com/ (http://www.abcfabricators.com/)

His prices are really great if you invest in a bit more than you might normally get at one time. I just got 50pcs. of 4"x6" 1oz. CEM boards for a little more than $20 with shipping. He also sells on ebay:

http://stores.ebay.com/PCB-Laminates-Copper-Clad (http://stores.ebay.com/PCB-Laminates-Copper-Clad)

which should give you a better idea of his prices. Shipping ain't cheep but this stuff is pretty heavy.

If anyone here orders from him, please let him know it was me who refered you. Maybe some day I'll order again and he'll give me a deal.

Best,
Chester Winowiecki
