Will this LED do the job?

Will it do the job for what, Cat? That looks to me like an ordinary LED...I'd put it in series with a 220 ohm resistor to run it at 9V (180 ideal, 220 is close enough); (supply voltage - LED voltage/LED current from the data sheet).   Unless what you're building requires a certain LED, that should do just fine as an indicator.

just to make me sure about this topic, I ask a question once again :icon_biggrin:
Can we use any color other than red led as an indicator? For example in the millenium by pass? I will buy blue or green led for millenium bypass.
