Title: TDA2040 - Help Please
Post by: axeman010 on November 02, 2006, 08:59:47 AM
Hi All

I am trying to fix a Peavey MicroBass Amp which uses a 20W Amp Semi TDA2040.

Have done a search of NET and the Forum and cant find a equivalent. The only place that I can find that stocks it is
RS - (I live in the UK) and I don't have an account with them.

Anybody got any ideas for a substitute or a place that sources them please.

Many thanks

Axeman.

IINM you can replace the 2040 with the more common 2050. Won't give more power since that is limited by the supply. But it will work and is easier to find.
