Title: Enclosure Size Help?
Post by: mojokicks37 on January 01, 2007, 01:35:24 PM
Hello all,

First, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I hope it's safe, wonderful, and fun for everyone and their families.
Now, onward to the question;

I just built the NPN Booster (Beginner Project) and want to put it into an enclosure. I built it using the same distances between components as Aron did in the tutorial, and cut away everything else I didn't need. Now, I'm trying to buy (an) enclosure(s) to house it and other future pedals in.

Mouser seems to have a ridiculously large selection and I have no clue as to what sizes I should be looking at.

I'm also going to build the Old School Fuzz and the Snakebite Booster from the Gallery. If anyone has any experience with what size enclosures to use, could you please provide assistance?

Thank you all so much,
Hope all is well
AJ

Typically the Hammond style "bb" and "b" sizes are used.

Those are a few places that sell them pretty cheap.

I made the snakebite myself and it will fit in a "b" box.
The old school is a pretty small layout and would fit in a "b" box also

Thank you oh-so-much. It seems I've found a new obsession that I can't wait to continue with!

ALL my best
