Title: Ideas Needed
Post by: HugeRambo on January 15, 2007, 07:43:30 AM
Hi,
ive been lurking on this forum for quite a while, have to say its great.  now to why i call attention.  i am about to start my final year (4th year) of my Bachelors Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the end of February, and i need help with ideas for a thesis project.  i have been into electronics since i was in high school, and played guitar for longer than that, so when i found there was on online effects community, i went hell for leather and got every project i could find.

i think it would be cool to do something guitar effect related for my thesis, probably in the area of DSP as this side is a little more complex and underdeveloped, well when compared to discrete electronics anyway.  so if anyone has any cool ideas for a project i would love to hear about, of course there are budget and technical limitations for my project because my university is a small one, there are only 2 of us that will complete electrical engineering degrees this coming year, so equipment and budgets are small, with not much industry interest in supporting students, especially in electronics or anything other than doing power systems work for the government owned electrical utility.  having said that, any ideas are welcome, even if its not possible to take on as a project.

Cheers,
Andy.
