Title: Incorporating 9V power into my project

For some reason, I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for in what seems it should be an easy problem.

I've built the 'Double D' from ROG and I want to use a 9V wall wart to power it.
I have a 9VDC wall wart and a power jack to wire into the board, but the power jack has three prongs on it, I assume one is positive and the other is negative.
What's the third lug for?
