Title: Switching through 3 effects via toggle
Post by: msurdin on July 02, 2007, 12:16:06 AM
Hey,
A few weeks ago I posted a diagram I drew up of using a 3pdt to bring in 2 effects at 1 time. These 2 effects would be toggled between via a toggle dpdt.
Is there a way to do this but toggling between 3 effects?

I'm planning on switching between 3 fuzz faces, nkt-275, bc108c, bc109c

Thanks

Matt

Yes. Two ways.
1. using an extremely complicated switch, a three position toggle with enough contacts to do the switching. I don't know of any of these that exist, but that doesn't mean they don't. A slide switch with three positions might work.
2. using a simple three position toggle switch with on-off-on switching to signal a digital logic network which effect is to be on. The logic then operates relays or solid state switched to make your wish come true.

would the 3 position toggle have to have 2 for sending the signal to the 3pdt, and then 2,2,2 for each effect?
so 2 rows of 4...

thanks
