Title: Interesting link
Post by: greenacarina on September 23, 2008, 12:28:38 AM
So, many years ago I stumbled across a scematic and layout in an old magazine for a home-built fuzz box. Never got around to building it, but it's always stuck in my mind. Since I became re-interested (and slightly more knowledgeable) in the area of building pedals...I've kept an eye out for this project from my youth. Recently I came across this link which I'm sure will not only help me track down my original project, but has a bunch of old-timey projects that could be a lot of fun. Thought I should share with the group-

Has anyone built any of the stuff from this page?
Chris

Are free downloads available for any of the articles?

You may be able to find some of these on file at your local college library. Some even on file on line through the library. I was only able to find Popular Electronics from this list here so far. However, I found a lot more journals that might be helpful. I don't know why I hadn't thought of this before. I had even borrowed basic electronics books from mine before.
