Title: MSP430
Post by: SlashLP97 on June 09, 2009, 08:33:37 AM
Anybody have any experience with the TI MSP430 family and guitar effects?  They are very cheap, can run at 16MHz from internal DCO and are real easy to use.  I've been thinking about rigging something up with one.

I have some experience with the MSP430s, what kind of guitar effects are you targeting?

I'm not sure, I do a lot of embedded programming at work so I have a pretty good understanding of how to get around an MSP430.  I was thinking maybe doing a chorus or something where you would have the dry signal and then three or four phase/amplitude shifted outputs that would all be added together.  I think the possibilities are endless (aside from not having a lot of space for things like delay without some added storage)
