Title: Midi sync to CMOS, for analog sequencer pedals

I read the other day that this interesting midi kit (http://highlyliquid.com/kits/mpa/), the MPA from highlyliquid.com, that decodes midi to 8x 5v pulse outputs, as well as 4 digi pots, can be programmed with sysex to send out the right pulses to CMOS stuff based on midi sync code coming in.  Seems like a great way to sync an analog sequencer pedal or synth thing to the rest of an appropriately nerdy band or a recording done to click.
