Title: simple bypass
Post by: basscleff on September 15, 2010, 09:19:27 AM
anyone know an easy circuit to bypass a stompbox without using the footswitch?

I want to make a straight through in between the input jack and output jack, without opening the stompbox itself.
I was thinking to either cut the power via a switch, but do most stompboxes still pass signal without being powered on?

An external true bypass box does this. See http://geofex.com/FX_images/milltbbx.gif . You can leave out the millenium bypass and only use the stomp switch.

No, cutting the power to the stompbox will probably not cause a bypass.
