Title: A/B Box Not Working as Planned
Post by: blacklightruckus on May 12, 2012, 05:55:22 PM
Long time lurker, first time builder!

I'm making an A/B pedal that I found on the beavis audio web pages:

My wiring appears to be correct, but when I plug it in, I get a loud hum on one click, and nothing on the other. When I get the loud hum, both LEDs light up.

Heres a few pictures of my wiring (extra large, and don't worry about the big chunk I took out trying to drill this sucker):

My current thoughts are that the 3pdt switch is wired 'sideways'

any thoughts on that?

Indeed I did. Sucker works perfect now that I rewired it with the correct orientation!
