Got this to fit on 1/2 of a radio shack PCB

Friend and sound guy Merlin wanted a tube screamer. Stock specs but socket for diode experiments.
The enclosure features a cool green wizard. More pics to come.

Very nice! Waiting for more pics.  :icon_biggrin:

whoops! I think I fixed image size.
I'm waiting for the enclosure varnish to dry before drilling. Should have a complete build and pics by tomorrow!

You can fit up to 18x18 holes in a 1590 LB, and up to 13 wide in a 1590A. This board won't fit either, so my guess is 1590B.

Indeed! It will easily fit into a 1590B.
I'm surprised I was able to make it so tight, considering it's just a general board and not an optimized two-sided PCB.
I'm just about finished a Rat with the second half. THIS pedal will be cool... two channel drive/selector with the 6 position BYOC mouse setup. The enclosure is finished with mahogany!

All Done! Stock symmetric 4148 diodes for now...

Cozybuilder

Symmetric 4148's sound good in this circuit. Nice job of blending the graphic to the box sides. ;D

Yes, I played around to match the green tone of the image to the green paint on the box (painted from Mouser)

duck_arse

wow, green, purple, and slanty. it just keeps getting better.

very nice, worth the wait.

Loved the cap crossing over the resistor :)
Kirk Hammet invented the Burst Box.

Haha! Yes, I loved that too. And the pile of resistors that looks like a freeway interchange  :icon_mrgreen:

Maybe I should post some of my DIY builds. I'm always afraid people are going to point out the stuff I do, but I guess it's all good if it works.
