I went through a lot of the posts here that cover the ToneBender MKII. It took me a bit to realize that the 3-knob was different than the MKII. I've been playing with different silicon transistor values over the weekend, but was wondering if there was any suggested hfe ranges that are frequently used? If I remember correctly, my kit came with 2N5089s which had high hfe compared the others I've been trying out.
