Anyone try to figure a way to turn a round pipe into a square ?
 Here's plan A:
 Make a super sturdy U shape  [flat bottom], just right for the size of round pipe stock your'e starting with, less than outside dimension by x amount.
 Get a piece of hardwood, or metal, a little more than twice the thickness of the pipe less than the width of the U shape.
 Put the long, square board through the pipe, put those over the U shape.
 Anchor one end of the board, the whole arrangement should be on concrete or other hard stable heavy surface.
 POUND the other end of the board with a sledge hammer, so the U shape and through the pipe board smash that side of the pipe into a couple near right angles instead of round.
 Turn the pipe and board 1/2 turn, re-anchor and POUND again !!!
  I'm not thinking it'll be easy to figure and get a perfect square pipe.
 after typing all that, I'd think they'd have some square stock pipe for something somewhere...I see thick square steel beam stuff, kinda too thick I think, heavy anyway. Thin stuff for heating and electric boxes...not stompswitch friendly for the most part.

Square tube is what you would be looking for.  I used to work for an aluminum shapes and shutter wholesaler and they had half inch all the way to 4 inch, I believe.  Also had to work with those massive I-beams..... wished I still worked there 'cause I'm starting to see the potential for enclosures!!

They make it square (equal sized sides) too, this one is 2mm thick.
