On the ROG page for the English Channel, there is mention made of a .047 cap with a 50k pot for the cut control.

Is the cap in series with the pot, or on the lugs, or something else?

im pretty sure they mean that the 4.7nf (0.0047uf) cap from lug 1 of the cut pot to ground was changed to 47nf (0.047uf)
