Wah-wah idea....

I was reading the recent thread on Knopfler's sound, and was thinking about the 'half-%^&*ed' wah sound....an undeniably cool 'clucky' sound

I thought it would be really cool to mount a wah circuit in a 'normal' stompbox with the traditional hand-crank pot rather than a foot crank - as I love the sound of my half-%^&*ed Vox wah-wah, but i find it difficult to find the 'sweet spot'.

Now for the thinker....

I was looking at wah-wah mods (i forget where), and was thinking that I could use this project to test mods for my wah pedal.  The mod I was thinking was to try the 'vocal mod' - switching one of the resistors for a higher value.
To do this, i thought of having a rotary switch to change between 4-6 different resistors (a 'digial pot' if you will) - although if there is merit of using this over a normal pot, i don't know.
What sort of rotary switches are there which would do this job?

Also, i've been trying to identify the parts on my Vox, but i've been bamboozled by capacitor values, the pot resistance and the inductor.  Any ideas where I could find a list of parts?

Cheers

Focal Wah..

this is a tough one it is a fixed pos wah that you can just plug into and play
for those of you who like to use it as a filter. it utilizes a one meg linear pot for maximum range.
This isn't a rocker wah..
