Anyone know of a freeware CAD program that will read CAD files and allow me to print them?  I don't need to manipulate them; just print them.  Thanks

There's no such thing as a generic "CAD" file, most CAD programs use their own file format and only a small number of these formats are exportable or importable by other packages.  You really need the package it was done on to use it.

Having said the DXF files are useable in some way by many programs.

A few CAD programs are available in "light" or as "viewers" which may allow printing.  You would have to hunt arount and see if something was available specifically for your file format.

If those Cad files are DWG or DXF you might try Autodesk's Volo View Express

Go to www.autodesk.com and look for it...but watch out. voloview is being discontinued (I think) so the site might 'push' you to get Autodesk Express Viewer...wich does NOT open DXF files. Watch out, any way, 'cause volo view is a heavy download.

cheers.
