I'm starting on the I B [first section> from input to .1uf cap just after the diodes and the 100k]
I'm using a TL082 OA for the time being, and two 47uf instead of two 22uf coupling caps for power supply and VR.
This section by itself looks like it should pass unity at least but so far I'm getting no signal through....I'm wondering if there's something I'm missing [besides the usual debugs] that I should know about...
Will leaving the unused OA pins [B+in, B- in, Bout] cause the OA to not function and which of these should go to ground?

In most ckts a 1k1 resistor to ground at the output would not leave much signal  left past that...???
I've got the MiniBooster and Tone Section all going good, I want to test this section if possible...
Is it possible to chop off the [OAand] diode clipping section like this, and get a functioning ckt?

That should work. Is the drive pot working at all? Sounds like you have a short somewhere.

Remember the TL082 has a different pin out than the dual RC4558.

The 1K output etc... is Jack Orman's class A circuit that he sent me.

Aron,

The TL082 is a dual as well, all duals have the same pinout.

It should work just fine.
