Check out the FireFly Taste Test at the bottom of my FireFly page:

There are short clips of the latest rev through my new speaker. Some of them are with some pedals too (Meteor, NPN Boost, Bronto Boost).

dude.   that rocks.  i think i am going to go with revision three.  i was thinking of adding a high voltage mosfet as a follower and using it to drive a tone section. but i think the way the amp sound as is, will work for me just fine..   ps i got some extra yahoo space if you wanted to use the link to the ezface clip.   it doen'st have a bandwidth resitriction on it. i saved it when i first head it cuase it was kickin...

first link diditn' work  heres the correct one.

I would be even more inclined to attempt this one if I could salvage a transformer or two.
If I could do that, get the power supply going, I think I could figure out most of the rest without too much trouble...'mainly' the power supply transformer identification etc.  Purchasing Irons right now...jest can't do it.
I have 12ax7 [and some other type] sockets, a pretty large [Dyna] preamp   frame, I'm sure I could figure out a cabinet...
Those clips sound real huge to my ears...    .5w is a very nice big sound to use in a small room...we used to use these litte jobs [similar] and get high gain with pedals for late night accoustic/electric or two electric jams...really perfect for parties...I think good playing at 'fidelity' listening volumes attracts the audience ... much better than getting out the half stacks...people want to comment and talk when the amplitude is less than overpowering.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

i got a couple of transformers lying around if you wanted to do the back to back thing  to step up the voltage. i even got a spare output tranny too..   you interested.
