Scrambler on perf?

Has anyone here done the Scrambler on perfboard? Scrambler
If so, anyone have a good layout idea?

No layout idea per se, but beware the pinout of the 2n5036! The ones I have go ECB instead of EBC ( I think that's right...) In any case check before you solder!

Definitely build it though, I just fixed some problems with mine tonight and couldn't stop playing it after I was done! The psuedo-ring mod stuff it does is fantastic...

Oh, and one more thing, the extra 3 diodes shown as optional on the pcboard layout are useless (to my ears anyway), just go with the 2 stock ones as in the schematic....
