Fuzz Face DC Jack Wiring

Quick question regarding fuzz face dc jack wiring:
can I just switch the leads coming off a boss-style center negative wall wart?  To make things clearer the center negative part of the wall wart goes to the V- of the circuit and the positive sleeve of the wall wart goes to ground right?  I just don't want to fry my ac128s...

I never tried a power jack on a FF ... is yours PNP or NPN?
 I tried wall wart power a couple times on FF's but was pretty nasty...noise wise, I'm pretty sure that's why you don't see them with DC jacks. I think the legend is that FF's picky and DOn't get along well with the warts.
 But when I do use powered efkts I just check everythingover with the DMM first, finding the positive of the wart by comparing polarity responses of the DMM to a battery, test continuity [connections made /and ones NOt made like ckt+ to Ckt ground...]

yeah I figured you don't see them too often with power jacks but I'm planning on using a bias pot on the positive ground to emulate a dying battery.  Not exactly what's outlined in RGs power supply article but I think it will work for the most part.  I'm using AC128s so it's a PNP circuit.
