Newbie Dead Script Phase 90 was Working - Loose Battery Lead

Hi.  
My script phase 90 was working fine until recently.  Now no sound when switched on, guitar is clear as a bell when the effect is bypassed.  

I opened it and found the red battery (+) was disconnected.
Can anyone tell me where to connect it?

There is a red wire to the board from one of the footswitch lugs.  Do I solder it to that lug?  

I traced the red lead from the board and it doesn't appear shorted out.

Look for a place where there used to be a lead on the PCB, then solder the wire to that point. Be careful not to melt the tracks off the board! Copper PCB tracks will come off if you heat 'em too much.

First of all thanks for the reply.
Whats the best way to identify the lead on the circuit board?  Look for pieces of broken wire coming off the board?  I don't see any.

I notice there is a red lead (intact) already soldered to the PCB from the footswitch, and two wires (green and white) from the speed pot.

Those wires to the switch are for the elctronic switching. The speed pot is also just part of the circuit so leave them alone

Try looking at the board for blobs of solder but no wire, or a hole somewhere. Power leads are usually placed close to the edge so carefully inspect your board for anything that looks unusal. Can you maybe post a pic of your PCB?

Ok, I ran the red wire from the battery through an empty hole in the board.  Now don't laugh at the soldering - it was resoldered AND WORKED FINE, but looks a little sloppy.

the first photo shows the soldered side, with the red wire in question popping through on the bottom right.  I suspect that rather large blob of solder near it on the lower right side - it looks like some frayed wire there?  What do you think.

Duals PS+ being pin 8...
 unless there's a little [~100] resistor between there and battery, you can DMM beep from any pin 8 and find the pos connections where they occur elsewhere by probing till you find them.
 If there is a little resistor there, go to the other side of it and connect or find another better place to make the connection from there with DMM beeper.
