remote switches

anything special to wiring remote on/off switch to Boss etc pedals in order to keep pedal in rack shelf & control from floor box with several switches?

Not really. You can just run the wires if you want. Lack of an idicator might anonyoing. Also having to tap all the pedals to get them in the right state might be bothersome too.
