Hi there ... here we are with new questions and doubts. So, let´s begin ... I´ve been looking BOSS Super Overdrive SD-1 schemat for around the web and luckly and found two schematics, wich are about 70% - 75% (maybe more, maybe less ... I don´t know) similar. And here is the problem: the first one I found is at this website http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Studio/2987/misc.html (thank´s to Plate to Plate) and the second one is here http://users.chariot.net.au/~gmarts/ampovdrv.htm (thank´s to GM Arts).

Consulting these two schematics you´ll see that there is a wire connecting the NPN to the IC (4558) and also in this wire there is a capacitor (0.018uF). So, in the first version (Plate to Plate) the schematic is BIGGER, I mean ... in a point before the 0,018uF capacitor we have another wire going to two FETs and so the other components.

And taking a look at the second version (GM Arts) you can see that the schematic doesn´t have these "appendix". Search through the Forum I found a message (http://www.diystompboxes.com/sboxforum/viewtopic.php?t=16631&highlight=boss+super+overdrive) explaining that the "appendix" is a "electronic bypass switching".

So ... wich schematic would be better to use. Personally I´d prefer work the second one because (at least to me) would be easyer "construct" the true bypass and also use a led.

I stop here, I´ve written too much!! Thank´s to everybody.
