it seems that although i have no problem hearing the tones in this at the computers lowest audible setting, i do have trouble with backgroundnoise.

anyway. thought i would share this with you as i think its improtant to all musicians

hmm, I wouldn't take this too seriously unless you can be assured that your computer speakers have a completely flat frequency response accross 20Hz - 20kHz.

For instance, my speakers really struggled with the 500Hz tone, as they are intended for an emergency intercom system and not for music reproduction.

It's a guide at least, and it might prompt more people to have a proper test before it's too late!  Cool link!

Beat me to it...  Even if they have a frequency response range that's large, the frequency response at lower and higher probably isn't that good anyways.

Well that explains the problem with the test. Now can someone explain all the voices I keep hearing ? ;)

sorry i have a great system surround sound too boot so i figured it was pretty good fro what it was a FREE TEST

but i just thought i woudl throw up some things for those who liked it cool those who dindt well cool tool
