..and other than one amazingly stupid mistake, it came out ok.

It's hard to see in the picture, but I got a little bubbling in the clear coat.. and despite going over the artwork 100 times... I managed to label the controls backwards (rate is depth and vice versa) which i MAY change later (swap the pots/wiring)..

Otherwise, not bad... it sounds amazing.

Sweeeeeeet! 8)

I'm really glad I said "let's take this exit, it's a great overlook of the bridge". :D

Thanks again for the ride! 8)

Cold wind blows
The Gods look down in anger
on this poor wiring

and why so cold

yeah, Peter.. that's the shot..

that picture of the bridge is a photoshopped copy of a picture that I took when he was giving me the local tour of San Fran...

I had originally used a stock photo in there.. then I got home and realized that my shot was better.

Hard to tell when it's all purple and green, but still...

PS.. I can't believe that nobody used the name 'bridge of vibes' before.. it seems like such a natural...

Funnily enough, I walked under the said bridge in Oxford, England 2 hours ago!
better to be in bad taste than to taste bad

And funnily enough, I'm rowing underneath the Bridge of Sighs in Venice in a gondola as I write this...okay, that's not exactly true.

From what I understand, the bridge got its name because supposedly it was the last view of Venice that criminals saw as they were being led to prison....SIGH!!!

I've never seen it in person, but I have passed under the one in Oxford as well. That one doesn't require a gondola (at least I don't remember if it does--we were coming back from the Turf Tavern after a few pints).

Looks great! What circuit is that?

I played "Bridge of Sighs" tonight, really loud, with me little ho-made Phase45 doing the whooshing!

Modmod - it's an EasyVibe.. John Hollis' design.. made to mimic the sound of the Univibe.. and does a pretty darn good job.

As for the T-shirt stuff... I'm using Avery #3279

That's what I thought it was. I dying to build one of those! Did you make your own PCB from R.G.'s PDF? Also, do you put shrink wrap around the LDR/LED combos?

Thanks in advance!

MarkB

Yup - went right off RG's layout..  used TL062's like the schematic calls for... used the little LED/LDRs that Steve sells and 'rolled' my own with shrink tubing.

It sounds GREAT.. very very happy with it.. coolest build for me so far.

Sorry for the bump, but has anyone used TL072 instead of 62 in the Easyvibe with good results? I'm just wondering do I need to order more parts.

Yes, I did.

How about TL2262?

RDV -
Apparently it DOES work, but it can cause problems..
Socket them, order some 062's, slap in some 072's while you're waiting and see if they work.
