MORE AXIS FUZZ!!

Hello Hello--
    Does anybody have any thoughts  [or experience] on using a BS170 for Q2 in the Axis circuit??  I put one in a few months back and it works fine, but I'm wondering if some tweaks could be made to some of the res. values to  add some more "balls" or "oomphh"  to the mod?
I keep thinking about Jack Orman's  "Mosface" with the BS170 in Q2  and how it turned the circuit into a little fire-breather!
