Arion SCH-1 volume drop

Hello everyone,

    Any ideas on how to fix the volume drop that happens when the Arion SCH-1 Chorus is engaged?

First thing to check: battery.
I have a SAD-1 analog delay, and it eats batteries like a starving baby boy. If that's not the problem, then it may have something to do with the actual design of the pedal, or possibly a manufacturing defect.
