I know this isn't the place, but you guys are soooooo smart I figured someone could help me.  :)

I want to make a bias meter for my amp.  My question is can I put just this meter

in an enclosure and attatch two probes to it. Is it that simple or does there have to be more to it.

thanks

You're going to want to fuse it, at the very least.  Don't you have a DMM? you can get one for a bit more money, and they are far more useful in the long run.

Yup, I have a RS pen style DMM. I can't find 1 ohm 1% resistors around here and I didn't want to place a mouser order for just a couple resistors. But I have an order ready for the place with the amp meter.

Would I put the fuse inline on one of the test leads?
