I've looked everywhere including. Know what, someone could make a ton of money just selling good quality Wah enclosures.

Thanks,

Ed G.

You're right, someone could. There's some effects I can think of I'd like to stick in a wah casing (other than wah) to have instant foot control, like a univibe or other type of modulation.

Maybe search ebay for a broken wah, you might get lucky.

I buy broken wahs on eBay all the time.  If you are patient, you can get them for less than $20, including shipping.  When you consider that that price also includes a nice pot, jacks, and (sometimes) a decent inductor, $20 is pretty cheap.

I think Dunlop sells the empty shells for c. $45.

By far the best way is eBay.

I saw a lot of like 4 broken wah pedals go for $30.  I mean, that's not expensive whatsoever.  Just look out for broken ones, even better if it's just the shell.

Every once and awhile I post this tidbit on getting enclosures along with the usual Ebay/used advice. Check out Dunlop's "High Gain" passive volume pedal. They are cheap and have all the parts needed. A new one is less then $50. The board can be popped out in less then a minute. The pot is 470K I belive.

Go to musical effects repair shops, and say - Do you have any dead-broke way pedal casings? I'd like to buy them if I can afford it. Sometimes you wind up with a box full of miscellaneously dead ones.

Sometimes you can get lucky at pawn shops asking for dead effects pedals.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
