i just intalled a DPDT switch in my crybaby wah so that it has true bypass. i just hooked the pedal up and have a problem, sound goes through when the pedals engaged, but when it's off no sound goes through at all.
What causes this??? I left the buffer in and used these instructions:

any help is appreciated. thanks

Check your wiring ;) That's usually a problem people have. Also, try building an audio probe! This way you can track the signal untill where it stops and hence find the problem you're experiencing. It makes debugging a hell of a lot easier :D
I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.

Could it possibly be that the trace between the input and the first cap hasn't been cut properly???

Also, what is an audio probe? How do you build one?

Click "Debugging Page" at the top of this page. It's basically an input jack with a lead to ground and a cap (to block DC). You probe the circuit at various points until you find where it went wrong.
