I built Ed's Pedal about a week ago and I got to test it through an Old B/F Super I refurbished from scratch, and I found a pedal that works perfect for me getting a tone I have always wanted when playing a Fender amp. It's got what I always wished my T/S had, but nomore wishin, you gotta build this one.
Now to brag on my Amp a Little !   :D
This amp is very Special to me, it Belonged to one of my Hero's that has since passed and it turned out so nice I just gotta Brag on it. the amp has a GZ34 rectifier tube for more head room on the clean, 2- 7581 Sylvania Doublegetter's for power, Mullard, Telefunkin and Amperex pre/amp tube's, has 460 VDC B+ and it's baised at -47.5 VDC, sorta on the clean side, I built the cab, baffle board, back boards myself, I had to have the chassie replated because this amp had not been played since the early 70's, or late 60's, it had layed in an outdoor garage with a dirt floor ! it had been on an equipment truck that took a plunge in 19 ft. of seawater somewhere near Amsterdam on Tour and never was repaired,
I believe someone would be proud to see it back in this Shape, Here's a few pic's

I swear I'm gonna stop drooling soon...I mean it ;)  That amp looks great JD!  I'm a huge Fender amp fan...they can keep their Marshall and Vox...give me a Twin Amp any day!

How long did it take to get it back in shape?  Who did it belong to?

Thanks Peter, I was'nt sure who fixed   , The Big O Texas Thank You still count's though !
Thanks for the Flower's Guy's, I tried Hard on this 1.
Phillip, this amp drove the Leslie cab in the Sir Douglas Quintet Band and I feel very lucky to have it in my collection, Doug was a Super guy and we all miss him here in So. Tejas very much, I'll be going to Antone's Sat with Jack And the Westside Horn's which was part of Doug's Band, they'll be performing a lot of Doug's song's with Charlie Sexton, you can check the time at Antone's web site. It'll be a great show.

Fretwire, thank's to the Magic of Armorall and my old wore out camara, the face plate look's new, but it's pitted from saltwater in a lot of small place's, I'm gonna keep it that way !,
I think Phillip asked how long it took to do this, about a year, But that's only workin on it every so often, in reallity, it can be done in a couple of week's if you hurried,  or faster, but for myself I have a lot of projects and only so much money, same as most guy's I guess.
Thank's for the kind word's.

Hey JD, very cool to see mention of the Sir Douglas Quintet. In fact, I only learned about them and Doug Sahm just a few weeks ago while visiting a friend up in Fort Bragg (CA), just north of Mendocino (you can probably guess how it came up).

My buddy was shocked that I'd never heard of them before. He thought for sure I'd come across "Mendocino" on the oldies radio. To set things right, he dug into his LP collection and pulled out his original copy of the Mendocino album, bought new when it first came out! The record was a little beated up, but it sounded fantastic, crackles and pops and all. It was great to hear that early Tex-Mex guitar/organ sound with a little San Francisco influence mixed in there as well. It was such a groove, I blew my mind in the morning.

Dave, you know they lived in S.F. back in the Flower Power movement, that's where they met guy's like Dylan, the Birds, like everybody moved to S.F. during that time period. Wish I could've, what a scene.

Wow, the amp looks great!  I can't imagine how bad a plunge in saltwater might damage it (I'm sure it was nasty), but it sure looks nice.  Did you say Charlie Sexton was playing too?  That might be worth the drive to see.
