Does 12volts fed tubes glow!? Do they show that beatiful "orange-glow"?

ah!...How do i tweak the sound (tone) of the Ruby Boost? Wich caps or resistence do i have to play with?

its the heaters that glow, unless youve done something wrong... so i spose yes they will.

are we talking about the sopht amp site ruby or the ROG ruby?

Yes, if you are wiring them to use 12V, yes, the heaters will glow.

I used a 9v 800ma WW power supply and connected that to the heater lugs [4&5] of a 12AX7, and under the load the circuit measures 11.2v...close enough I think, you want the measured voltage of the circuit to be close to the tube rating for optimal performance and longest heater life....sezz the RCA Tube Manual.
