Hey I just picked up a sweet volume pedal from an old organ found lying on someones verge during garbage collection. The thing has a little globe and a LDR seperated by a little screen that controls how much light filters through depending on where the pedal is.

I was wondering how I could use this to make a really nice wah/volume pedal from scratch and if you guys can link me to some schematics to help me?

I have already looked at the tonepad wah which looks like it could be good but I'm not that certain on how to implement my LDR into the circuit.

The LDR is best suited to a twin-t circuit.  Try something like Tim E's Ghost Dance.

Simple, sounds good, yay.

How about some of the morley circuits? I was looking at some of there schematics but they don't seem to have inductors and they seem to use alot more ldr/led's then the one I have in my pedal.

Also was trying out the pedal with a DMM measuring the ldr resistance today and noticed that when the pedal is fully forward the resistance is at its lowest and when it is rocked fully back the resistance is it highest. I think I may need the oposite of this to use it as a wah pedal???

I wanna live where Shawsofhell live's, hell if there throwin away old organ's i know i wanta live there,
Look on some of the organ sites like Hammond, and others and you'll find a few schematics to old organs and thier foot controller's.
