Hi,

Anyone have a simple scheme for a stand-alone passive tone control?

Thanks!

Take a look at the bottom half of this page for a couple of examples. :) They're disguised under the name "lowpass filters".

Thanks Peter!  Man, you seem to answer everyone's questions.  We all appreciate it.

Sorry for not taking the time to check around this site before I posted.  :)

No problem. (it was hidden anyway)

Aron actually provided the answer, I just gave the link. ;) That would be a good one to add to the DIY FAQ.

I found it using the free "Google Toolar" which allows you to search the site you are currently on with one click. Very cool utility. It also highlights words 8) and blocks pop-ups. The lack of that utility on the Mac is actually a major factor keeping me on the PC for web browsing.

Take care,
-Peter

I've read the Mods section, but I guess I never noticed those circuits.

I actually used to have the Google toolbar but I never realized it has that feature.  Maybe I'll have to check it out again.

Thanks.
