Diode substitute

Can anyone confirm if I can use a 1N4148 diode instead of a 1N4448 Diode?

I't for a channel select box for a fender valve amp.

They are pretty much the same thing.

The maximum voltage and current are the same.

The 4448 has a lower guaranteed voltage drop and lower capacitance.  I doubt these are a problem.

Yep, they look similar.

1N914, 1N4148 are interchangable.

these are considered "high-speed switching diodes".

these are not power diodes.

all diodes are rectifiers.
