Modern Trannies for Tremolo

Some of the suggested old transistors for tremolo circuits are:
HEP 251
HEP 801
2SC828P

Are there any common modern transistors that I could replace these with?

When in doubt, use a 2N5088 for NPN's and a 2N4250 for PNP's. -

1. HEP251 = PNP BJT
2. HEP801 = JFET(take your pick)
3. 2SC828P = NPN BJT
