I ran across a news item in harmony Central about Time machins boost.

they gave some detials on the new model (
QuoteFeatures:

Two independent channels (Vintage & Modern) with three modes of operation (Vintage: 1966, 1973, Modern)
Select military-grade NOS germanium transistor for Vintage Channel
Dual JFET w/unique voltage-doubling circuit for most transparent clean boost possible from Modern Channel
Separate level controls per independent channel
Intensity control for Vintage channel to control harmonic level
True bypass with individual LED indicators for on/off, Vintage, and Modern channels
9v battery (included) operation or 9v DC with optional adapter
A blue powder coated die cast enclosure, silkscreened and using vintage-style "chicken head" knobs for the vintage channel with a contemporary knob for the Modern channel.
Lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects and workmanship
and a link to the web site, after alittle reading a a look of the box's innards I had a few thought of what it's composed of:
The Modern channel seems to be a Mini booster alike thingy
QuoteDual JFET w/unique voltage-doubling circuit for most transparent clean boost possible
. The 1966 Vintage Channel is a RangeMsster and the 1973 Vintage maybe a Range master with a more steady biasing or a differant freq. response from changing input/output caps, or emitter resistor bypass cap or maybe conecting a small cap from B to C to tame highs...
The intensity control may be the original RM "boost set" and the volume control just a regular pot to groung with the out siganl taken from the wiper

so... after all of that talk... what do you think? am I close?
