Built one of these in order to torture my Digitech RP-100.    It gives some great noises, especially with patches involving delay or whammy. One minor modification - I'm not so keen on loud whistling feedback, so I have tamed this by bridging the output jack with a 1 nF capacitor. I used a 'momentary' action footswitch for control (i.e. feedback only when I press on it). Simple and fun.

Cool!!! I need to try it. I really like Ansil's ideas.
